COMPASS JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
Compass Junior Secondary School was established in 2003. The School was opened in response to the yearnings of parents of Compass Nursery and Primary School that the kind of sound moral and academic opportunity their children had at the elementary level should continue at the secondary school level. The temporary site was situated at Lynson Chemicals Avenue, off Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Sango-Ota but was relocated to the permanent site with the Nursery and Primary School in Igbala Layout, Sango-Ota in 2013.
The Junior Secondary School comprises of children from age 10 who have passed the Nigerian Primary School Common Entrance Examination.
We have good facilitators and experienced educators who prepare our students for Junior School internal and external examinations. Students are exposed to different career choice programs that will enable them to make better career choices. We also have well aerated classrooms equipped with state-of the-art teaching aids including Interactive board.
The opportunities our students have are quite unique to Compass Schools. We foster the scholastic, spiritual, creative, physical, personal and social growth of the students. Our teaching program covers the range of subjects and courses recommended by the Examination Board. The school strives to guide, motivate and awaken the minds and hearts of its students and staff to realize their full human potential.
Students in the final class of our Junior Secondary school are given the options of sitting for the Junior West African Examination Council (WAEC) and Junior National Examinations Council (NECO) exams which is required for further enrollment into the Senior Secondary School.
